Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an action-adventure hack-and-slash spin-off in the Metal Gear series, developed by PlatinumGames and published by Konami. It is set in 2018, four years after Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and the player controls the cyborg Raiden in sword combat against cyborgs and mechs.
