About
Hudson's Adventure Island is a side-scrolling platform game by Hudson Soft, first released in Japan in 1986 as Takahashi Meijin no Bōken Jima. It began as a port of Sega's arcade game Wonder Boy. The player guides Master Higgins through island stages, collecting fruit to refill a draining health gauge and picking up a stone axe to attack enemies.
