Command & Conquer: Red Alert is a real-time strategy game by Westwood Studios, released for MS-DOS and Windows in 1996. It is the second game to carry the Command & Conquer title and a prequel to the 1995 original. Players mine ore and gems for credits to build bases, vehicles and infantry for the Allied or Soviet side.
