About
John Madden Football is an American football game first released for the Apple II in 1988 and later ported to the Commodore 64, Commodore 128 and MS-DOS. Players pick plays and run single games with adjustable conditions, quarter length, fatigue, injuries and penalties. It has no season mode and no licensed NFL teams. It preceded the 1990 Sega Genesis game of the same name, which began the yearly Madden NFL series.
