Vanguard is a 1981 arcade scrolling shooter developed by Tose and published by SNK. The ship flies forward on its own through tunnel zones that scroll horizontally, vertically or diagonally, and four buttons fire in four directions independently of movement. Fuel drains constantly and is refilled by destroying enemies.
