King's Quest: Quest for the Crown
Sierra On-Line
About
King's Quest is a graphic adventure game by Sierra On-Line, first released for the IBM PCjr in 1984 and the first game in the King's Quest series. The player guides Sir Graham through the kingdom of Daventry in search of three magical treasures, typing short text commands while moving him through pseudo-3D side-view scenes. It is often credited with saving Sierra during the 1983 video game crash and with starting the graphic adventure genre.
