About
Columns is a match-three puzzle game first made by Jay Geertsen in 1989 and ported by Sega to arcades and the Genesis in 1990. Columns of three jewels fall into a well, and the player lines up three or more matching jewels horizontally, vertically or diagonally to clear them. Sega's versions use ancient Greek imagery, and the music tracks are named after the Moirai.
